Mancera: HOLIDAY instead of HOLIDAYS
If we took a holiday,
took some time to celebrate!
Just one day out of life,

When I sprayed Holidays the first time to test, I immediately remembered the song by Madonna. My mom is a real fan of Madonna. Earlier, when I was still a child, she had in the car radio always a cassette (yes, so it was back in 1890!) From Madonna's first album while driving run.
Madonna sings about a "holiday", the fragrance of Mancera is of course called "vacation", the small but subtle difference is the "s" at the end.
If I smell at the beginning of the fresh bergamot and the slightly salty notes, paired with a coconut breeze, nevertheless, no vacation feeling per se arises in me. With me, the fragrance leads to a wide grin on the face: I get a good mood, want to have fun, celebrate!
As soon as the heart shows from Holidays, then the holiday feeling mixes with a longing for the distance. I can perceive the sweet creaminess of tiare, coconut remains very delicately in the background. The refreshing, slightly salty scent does not go away with me - thank goodness. I like it very much. The beach of Mallorca calls me then...
Only in the base notes coconut and the salty, fresh note is gone. Then the fragrance becomes slightly woody with me with a touch of vanilla.
The durability is super with about 8 hours and with the sillage you have to watch out. I suspect that the fragrance can be overdosed quite quickly. Mancera fragrances have always put me off until now, but with Holidays I want to go celebrate. Just like Madonna sang it in her song.
