The retro evening and the memories!
You stroll through the flea market and discover the old hams that you used to enjoy soooo much.
Suddenly you're gripped by the thought of drifting back to the "good old days". So you hurry home....
You set off "It's got to be somewhere", rummage through everything, find the first accessory and suddenly it falls into your hands. The good old games console.
You quickly set it up, put in your old favorite title, grab a bag of snacks, lean back and start it up.
And so begins the journey away from the modern age back to the "good old days".
This can be really nice or a little disappointing when you realize that your favourite title is very dusty and you were expecting something different.
That about sums up my encounter with this fragrance.
It definitely trumps by bringing the classic vibe 100% across but what can I say, I somehow feel too young for the fragrance.
Of course I knew that it was probably close to the original (I can't make a direct comparison with the OG on the nose). Nevertheless, I wanted to let myself be picked up by the once so praised fragrance in its "future form", I can certainly understand why it was/is so popular. The fragrance DNA is a lot of fun, also smells very valuable and inviting but then simply more on a gentleman of a more sophisticated age.
It opens strongly citrusy due to the grapefruit and bergamot, but this subsides very quickly and without further detours it goes into this huge wave of classic vibes and there it also hardens rigidly in a floral woody coat that later opens and ends in a finale of labdanum and tonka bean after a long ride.
All in all, a thoroughly beautiful fragrance in an old guise.
P/L for classy lovers certainly extraordinarily good =)
Would I recommend it? Yes
Wear it yourself? No
Thank you for reading and have a nice day =)
