Unfortunately, you quickly become odor-blind

The scent starts very citrusy but becomes more moderate after 1 hour, unfortunately I don't perceive the scent as strongly afterwards because I immediately become smell-blind I think it's ambroxan in the fragrance, which is why you become scent-blind. Nevertheless, I have received the most compliments for the fragrance so far, even though I can't smell it, even after wearing it for 6 hours.
I just think it's a shame that the price of the fragrance has risen in recent years.
I find the Théorème pour Homme much better because it is much more fruity and has a less peppery note. I also don't go scent-blind so quickly with this one and I notice it for longer.

A likeable always-walker for little money

The title already reveals what I think of Turathi Blue by Afnan. The fragrance can definitely compete with much more expensive ones, no problem at all.

What does it smell like?
I would describe it as a mixture of Tygar and Bleu de Chanel EdT / Light Blue Intense. It starts off with a strong citrusy note that goes in the direction of grapefruit and is really beautiful. Delicious. It is also fresh. As it progresses, the grapefruit becomes less and it goes slightly in a "blue" direction.

As a result, you get a fragrance that really always works. Office, school, birthday party, just hanging out with the boys. No matter, Turathi Blue can do everything. Longevity is really not bad either. Sure, the grapefruit leaves, but the rest stays.

What else can I say? It's a good fragrance that I also like to wear. Well suited for anyone looking for a rather fresh blue fragrance for all seasons and occasions WITHOUT spending a lot of money. You can just see that the price and the fragrance don't necessarily correlate.

Orange soda with coconut as a snack

Straight to the fragrance description without a lengthy novel:

Starts very fruity. Vibes of Fanta Orange and Fanta Mandarin.

Becomes creamier as it progresses. I also detect coconut, which is not overpowering. I perceive little to no wood in the drydown.

Good longevity and sillage, it lasts 7 hours without any problems. I have also received compliments.

You're doing a lot of things right for the price segment, but....

Hello everyone,

today I would like to say something about the Turathi (Blue) and something general about it.

I always find it very borderline in life when a company or a manufacturer makes a copy, whether we are talking about fragrances, clothing, bags or technology.

A one hundred percent 1:1 copy is not mathematically possible and it is also not wrong if a company xyz looks around the market and gets inspired and roughly reproduces this direction and adds their typical fragrance direction... as NISHANE sometimes does, for example.

AFNAN, on the other hand, is (very often) a copy company and there are also people who say - as long as it is cheap, everything is ok and I understand the people who think like that. It's just not mine (personal opinion). But what puts me off more than my way of thinking is the practical implementation....

I can see it coming ... hate incoming...

It is logical (!) that a 30€ fragrance does not have the GOODNESS of a 300€ to 700€ one, but there are other synthetic ingredients that get on your nerves and bother you less, this is exactly the WORD for it... there is a healthy balance for many things in life, you have to find it... However, it was not sought here...

To anyone (!) who likes it, it's all cool, I accept and respect it, it's just that the synthetics here are a bit too strong (noticeable) for me...

Test and if you like it - buy or ignore...

Is it worth it?

If you are looking for an inexpensive fragrance and don't want to or can't spend a lot, this is the right place for you. Because I think around €30 is ok - and it's probably also (much) better than some drugstore fragrances...
