Lovely floral resinous citrus blend
Sampling Frederico Parfums – Parfum Ensoleille, a fresh, creamy, citric / floral / resinous mix featuring notes of mandarin, orange blossom lemongrass, lavender, ginger, beeswax, and myrrh. It’s a nice companion to Blooming Amber in that it too has a bright resinous aspect, albeit with a different balance and contributing factors, but it’s comparably excellent. There’s a slightly sharpness to it but it’s mollified by the creamy and resinous aspects, and I get an orange blossom accord that remains prominent throughout the dry down. Performance is very good, like the others in the house, with nice density that feels befitting the gravitas of the fragrance itself, and certainly adds value.
Parfum Ensoleille is priced at $185 for 50ml in parfum concentration and is sold via the house website as well as Perfumology, from which I obtained a very reasonably pried discovery for all 5 perfumes at $35.
