Masculine and heady
This week I've been exploring the so-called 'cheapies', and I must say that from what I've tested, half of these fragrances are worthy of a higher price tag and glitzy advertising.
FCUK Connect for Her is surprisingly masculine and woodsy. The sillage packs a punch, so I learnt early on to apply sparingly. One could be forgiven for thinking this is a men's fragrance, yet its rich masculinity is what draws me in.
The cedar and sandalwood accords are incredibly strong, further complimented by zesty bergamot and syrupy, resinous amber. When you smell this fragrance you can almost taste it, it is that intense.
I guess you could say that the scent is a little outrageous and daring, somewhat suited to those girls that enjoy the attention, the ones that like to stand out in a crowd. Actually I'd recommend FCUK Connect for Her for clubbing, it suits that crowded and intense atmosphere well.
FCUK Connect is far removed from FCUK for Her which was somewhat clean and musky, this fragrance smells dirtier in a good way. The longevity is also very good. I think I can detect a hint of patchouli in there somewhere too, which reminds me of YSL's Elle.
