Not the vanilla you know

And that's a good thing!

With dominant vanilla, but what sets this perfume apart is the 'dirty vanilla'.
What makes this a not-too-sweet vanilla is the oregano, Liquorice, patchouli, and ambergris.

All of this harmony blends together in a special and unique way that gives the vanilla a sexy and dark feel.
I absolutely love it.

At least two different women complimented me on it and it's definitely a perfume that's suitable for dates.

I wont lie.

I don't love this one. It's been on my wrist for 90 minutes, and it's a skin scent already. It's not bad, I can tell it's blended very well like the rest of this house is, but the performance can't be that good for 90 minutes and it's a nose to skin scent. It's very sexy though, truly, not lying. I don't like this, it's not my type, but I would never be disgusted by it! It's magnolia amber and musk heavy, and the licorice and oregano are, oddly enough at the tall end of this scent. Incredibly unique, slightly fem leaning, but definitely unisex. I like it, but I wouldn't wear it!

Vanilla done different

Raris is a beautiful, warm, ambery sweet, dirty vanilla scent.
I love this, and its uniqueness as well.

Not suitable for overspraying, it can become cloying very easily. I usually wear 3-4.

Performance is excellent, it lasts for even longer than I need it to while projecting a good distance for hours.

When the contents and the bottle speak a different language

These flacons really appealed to me right from the start! It really is something completely different and exciting. Of course I want to try it out.
I kept an eye on the souk and dared to make a blind purchase with this treasure. Of course, I had read and listened to a few things beforehand to get an impression.

It arrived today - the bottle is very, very impressive! Insane. And incredibly heavy. All in all, simply very high-quality.

Now to the fragrance impression. The hyper-fine spray mist spreads over my arm. What creeps into my nose doesn't go at all with this misty spray look - it smells like dark licorice and burnt caramel. You can already sense the soft base in the background at second one, but the fragrance starts off harshly sweet.
I know the licorice note from Hypnotic Poison (2014) Eau de Parfum. The fragrance reminds me a lot of this beauty at the beginning. The coconutty caramel disappears very quickly. What remains is buttery soft.

I smell buttery patchouli, dark vanilla and something sexy and cozy. Sounds very contradictory, but it is. Dark, soft, cuddly.

The base reminds me of Spice D'Arno. It gets softer and softer and softer. Musk powder, vanilla cream, incredibly beautiful.

The start matches the hardness of the bottle; the base no longer does. But that's not a bad thing, of course.

All in all, I have to say that I find the fragrance really incredibly good; but not good enough for the price. I'm totally happy with my bargain, but I wouldn't pay the full price.

Vanilla milk for spraying

It makes quite an impression, the flagship of the Hemcael range. Technically, the bottle is quite impressive (visually, of course, it's a matter of taste, I personally think it's a bit over the top, which is why it doesn't score 10 points, but it certainly stands out from the crowd)
But what can the fragrance do?
The first time I smelled the fragrance was on a strip in my trusted perfumery and I was pleasantly surprised. Spicy opening, pleasant vanilla as it progresses.

Unfortunately, I was a little disillusioned with the bottling I received.
The opening only lasts a few minutes on the skin, after which it gives way to a rather synthetic vanilla milk scent. Not that it's unpleasant, it's quite pleasant and very relaxing. Reminds me of the vanilla drink packets that used to be on sale in the school playground at break time.

But that was it. No further twist, no transformation. I would classify the shelf life as very good, my drink packet stays with me all day. In view of the fact that there are already a lot of fragrances like this, the bottom line is that it is disappointing, especially considering the price.

This DNA is much more affordable and reinvents absolutely nothing
