Clean, fruity, sweet, SLIGHTLY fem.

This is great stuff, not overly fruity, or sweet, but very of both. Performanceis yet TBD, as I've only owned these bottles for 90 minutes now, but Abel has lost some punch around this time, still there, soft projection. The vetiver is VERY bright and hard to notice, which is probably a good thing for those wanting fruity sweet ever so slightly woody frags. As with the rest of the line, the bottle blocks the spray not a deal breaker to me, but be warned. Blocks probably roughly 15% of each spray.. it's noticeable

Win or Loss, that is the Question?

I won the fragrance Abel by Hemcael a few weeks ago in a giveaway; otherwise, I probably wouldn't have purchased it, as the price is already in the higher segment and I wouldn't have made a blind buy on this brand that was unknown to me until now. Later, the Herriut was added as well. The bottle is super heavy and solid, almost like a solid block of metal, which feels really valuable in the hand.
Upon the first spray, a fresh, fruity note emerges, reminiscent of ripe oranges and a hint of green apple, underpinned by a warm vanilla base that rounds everything off. On my skin, it lasts easily 6-8 hours, even a bit longer on clothing. By the evening, it is still subtly detectable, which I see as a plus, especially for everyday office wear.
What does confuse me, however, is this comparison to Red Bull mentioned further down in the statements. I would never wear a fragrance that smells like that disgusting drink :) So I absolutely cannot relate to that. Overall, Abel is a fragrance that has positively surprised me. It is not revolutionary, but solid and versatile, ideal for someone looking for something fruity. Definitely worth recommending, especially for the transition from summer to autumn. In conclusion, I can say that the win was a win in both senses: on one hand, the joy of having won something, and then also the good fragrance, thus 100% no loss.
