Warm & wintery

This is very much my type of fragrance. Strong masculine lean. Starts very spicy with clove, cinnamon and dried ginger; dries down to a more woody scent and mellows out a bit. Warm and somewhat vanilla-sweet throughout. Reminds me of a wintertime festival or fair, a bit like buying a sweet gingerbread pastry in a paper bag and catching a whiff of mulled wine from a nearby stall.

Strong sillage and staying power. Sprayed some on myself in the morning; it's completely dark outside now and while a lot less intense, it's still definitely there!

Very good budget fragrance in my opinion.

The "Tobacco Vanilla" clone from the drugstore

Lou de Pre is one of the few drugstore brands that I pay any attention to at all.
The dupes from this brand are not always the best, but they clone fragrances that are otherwise hard to find in the drugstore.
This also applies to Amber Flame.

Without looking online to see what Amber Flame is supposed to clone, I immediately knew which dupe it was: It's a replica of Tobacco Vanille Eau de Parfum.
Although the fragrance is not identical, it is still close enough to the original that you can figure it out without thinking about it for too long.

The fragrance starts very sweet, heavy and spicy.
I immediately notice cinnamon and clove, I wasn't quite sure about the other spices.
Unfortunately, the fragrance is not of such high quality that you could really sniff out all the individual notes.
After a short time, I also notice tobacco, but it doesn't seem very high-quality either.
In addition, the tobacco note is not as prominent as in the original.

The fragrance hardly changes in DD.
It may be my imagination, but at this point I perceive honey.
The sweetness of the fragrance probably comes mostly from the honey, but also from the vanilla, which I also smell better in the DD.

The dried fruits unfold best towards the end.
They are actually dried rather than juicy, fresh fruit.
They tend to stay in the background and give the fragrance even more of that characteristic "tobacco vanilla" vibe.

It is a really good and inexpensive alternative to the original.
In conclusion, the performance is average to slightly above average.

Conclusion:
Personally, I don't need this fragrance as I have had my fill of this fragrance DNA.
However, if you can't get enough of it, you should definitely give it a try.
It is certainly available in almost every Müller store.

Amber Flame - smells like children's punch

Amber Flame is a warm, sweet fragrance that immediately catches the eye. As soon as you spray it for the first time, you realize that it's more for the evening or the colder months of the year. It smells of vanilla, a little spicy and quite cozy.

I think it looks mature but still modern. Not for every day, but perfect if you go out in the evening or just want to wear a more striking fragrance. It attracts attention but in a pleasant way. In my eyes, it has a scent similar to children's punch.

It lasts a long time, easily seven to nine hours and stays on clothes even longer. The projection is also good, you will definitely be noticed.

The bottle looks classy and definitely looks better than the price suggests.

For me, Amber Flame is a top fragrance for fall and winter. If you like sweet and warm fragrances, you should definitely give it a try.

Clove tobacco bomb

I've been slowly testing my way through the Lou de Pre fragrances and I've noticed two very positive ones. In addition to the Mystic Dream, there is also this interesting candidate here. First of all, it has to be said that the Amber Flame is not for untrained noses. I can well imagine that many people will dislike it because the opening is simply very spicy and damn, the clove really hits the spot. But if you give it a chance and take your nose one step further into the fragrance, you will be immersed in warm tobacco and vanilla notes that cast a mysterious spell over you. I'm not normally the type for this kind of fragrance, but I really liked this one and so I was allowed to take a bottle home with me. I still have to find the right occasion to wear it, but until then I just enjoy smelling it on my wrist from time to time.
