Tonka sweetness and delicate flowers

Tonka Nube by Insolitum Odores is a very pleasant all-rounder. A beautiful everyday fragrance or for special occasions. For me personally, it is more suitable for fall and winter but can also be worn all year round.

It starts off pleasantly warm and pleasantly sweet, not too strong but noticeable and yet never unpleasant. As the floral tames the sweetness somewhat.

The opening with the fougère lavender and bergamot gets the fragrance off to a good start. Pleasantly pleasant.

Spice quickly comes into play with the cinnamon and nutmeg, but the rose also adds a touch of femininity. Not too dominant but noticeable.

The tonka bean together with the amber and vanilla round off the creation well.

The fragrance is never "too strong" or penetrating. It envelops the body like a warm floral praline.

Perhaps not new in terms of DNA, but creatively implemented.
Unfortunately, as with another fragrance, it's the performance that doesn't really convince me. Unfortunately, it only lasts about 2 hours on my skin.

It is a great fragrance.

Tonka bean with floral facets and nutmeg

Tonka Nube is a really beautiful tonka bean fragrance. It is relatively intense, but other notes ensure that it is not a pure tonka bean fragrance.
Especially in the first phase, there is a nub here and there, which is also in the foreground.

The fragrance starts in the very first seconds with an echo that seemed familiar to me. Shaghaf Oud Tonka by Swiss Arabian was in my nose for a very short time.
I love this fragrance and that's precisely why I found this scent very, very beautiful.
After a few seconds, however, you can feel clear differences. As a result, they can no longer be compared later on.

The tonka bean from the base is really quite intense, however, because it is recognizable from the start.
But there are also a few floral nuances and the nutmeg spice. You have to like that. I like it thoroughly, but I could imagine that not everyone will like it.

Over time, the floral facets then recede noticeably and the tonka bean is given more of a stage to present itself.
This wonderfully sweet, slightly nutty character of the tonka bean is always beautiful.
In addition, the amber accord gains strength. The vanilla is very tame and otherwise there really is something sweet in the direction of sugar. Very beautiful.

The first phase of the fragrance is nice, but I like the dry down much better.
If it were a linear dry down in this case, I would even rate it higher.

The durability is around eight hours for me. Projection is also completely fine.
Unisex? Definitely!

Tonka Rose Lavender

The fresh, herbal coolness of lavender meets the sweet warm depth of tonka bean, while the rose lies in between, soft & floral, never overloaded. The rose is very smooth and stays in the background.

Tonka Nuke

A creamy-soft lavender meets a good portion of tonka bean - this is the best way to describe the core of this fragrance. The lavender note is surprisingly calm and gentle, without the soapiness or pungent "sharpness" that is often present. Instead, it creates an inviting, almost calming opening.

Underneath is a sugared bergamot, which gives the fragrance a light citrus freshness. It ensures that the transition to the warm, vanilla base is smooth. The tonka bean is very present here, with its typical blend of vanilla resulting in a sweet but not sticky depth that lasts a long time and is very harmoniously integrated.
The name: Tonka Nuke, would also be appropriate and by no means exaggerated.

The fragrance is very balanced overall - nothing pushes itself to the fore, everything is finely interwoven. The longevity and sillage are also convincing without being overwhelming.

What makes it particularly interesting is its versatility: it works just as well on warm summer evenings as it does on an autumn day.

Conclusion:
A successful fragrance for anyone who likes soft lavender. The combination with sweet tonka bean and a fine vanilla base is modern, cozy and very wearable - whatever the season.
