Modern elegant chypre
The Palace by Jazeel is an elegant and very regal chypre with a combination of citrus, floral and woody notes that exudes sophistication and refinement.
A bright, citrusy and fresh opening, led by lemon and bergamot, grabs your attention with its bold, energetic start. The heart of the fragrance reveals a beautiful blend of floral notes such as rose, jasmine and ylang ylang, with a hint of spice, probably from cardamom and cinnamon, adding depth and warmth to the floral bouquet. This part of the fragrance feels smooth and luxurious. The dry down is where the fragrance becomes warm and earthy. Woody notes of sandalwood, vetiver and oakmoss dominate, along with powdery incense and a hint of oud.
It feels very sophisticated and mature, perfect for evening wear, but I can't resist wearing it in the office.
