Lemon with caraway and edge...?
Walk into the Sunrise" oscillates between cocktail, wellness and grandmotherly tea - and to be honest, that leaves me a little cold... Whether it's hot outside or in the air-conditioned office.
I have nothing against caraway and the older I get, the more often I reach for tea. A lemon kick in summer is always a good idea anyway. And although these key ingredients blend beautifully in this Jean Poivre, the overall package is not worth buying for me. Especially not for this price - but that didn't influence or diminish my impression of the fragrance. Even for 30 euros, this would be a bit... boring. Lemon treated stepmotherly. A little dust on the cup. A little sweat under my arm. A little emptiness in my wallet. A little boredom on my part.
Flacon: clear lines, very pretty
Sillage: carrier fragrance not compliment chaser
Longevity: under 5 hours clearly... take it or leave it!
Conclusion: homeopathic spicy lemon tea with mint, caraway and shrug. Nice, relaxed, humanizing, not completely shit. Absolutely not. But not the go-to refreshment in summer either...
