The color of longing

Blue as the sky for long as the eyes see. Blue as the ocean thats endless. The soul of them is also blue.

The scent is really build around the feeling the color blue and the blue lotus is the star here. It bursts you with rich and creamy blue lotus from the very start. Its mixed with ambergris makeing it creamy and it has this nice black tea on it. Yet it never overpowers the lotus rather it adds something to it. with some time the musk and oud grounds the blue lotus and give room for the other florals to also sing their part on this blue song.

This is just pure love for me. it has all the right elements for me to love it.

Black tea, blue lotus and musk fragrance

Ok guys this is my second Jogi review and most likely not my last, as u guys can see in the notes this fragrance focuses on blue lotus and musk but there is way more to this summer masterpiece.

As I said on my other Jogi review "I discovered this brand through a friend and I'm definitely not disappointed", thx to him I found a great brand.
The owner creates magnificent fragrances inspired by Suffism (Islam) and this one apparently means 'a blue melodic framework' but it's much more than that.

Let's talk about the scent now, when u spray this fragrance the first thing u get is the Black tea absolute which surprisingly stays throughout the whole duration. After 5-10min. or so the Indian jasmine, blue lotus and Musks start coming out which add a bit of complexity to the scent. After about an hour some more notes start to come out, I'm talking about ambregris, oud, and sandalwood. These 3 notes aren't really prominent because they're probably meant to help the overall structure of the fragrance.

So the fragrance has 3 phases on my skin, it starts really light with some blue lotus and prominent Black tea, after that the musks start showing and u get a really warm/aquatic vibe. Finally phase 3 where it changes one last time and gets a little woodier and complexer.

This fragrance unlike Saqi (the other Jogi I own) doesn't smell like anything I've smelled before. It's a unique aquatic, musky tea fragrance absolutely great for summer.

On my other review I mentioned that most Jogi fragrances have a harsch opening, well fortunately for me this one doesn't. It is easily as strong as Saqi if not stronger though.

So finally to conclude this review, for me this fragrance smells like ur in Asia surrounded by beautiful blue lotus flowers drinking a black tea with some pure musk attar on ur arm :)
the Longevity is great, I get about 10-12 hours with an insane Sillage the first 4-5 hours. It does get closer to skin after those 4-5 hours. Like Saqi u could wear this any season but this will absolutely be my go to summer fragrance.
