Not an ordinary freshie

I honestly did not expect to love it. I do not usually like fresh citrusy fragrances, but this one was a very pleasant surprise to me.

It opens with a mouthwatering blast of grapefruit and blood orange. Somehow, it is done so well, it instantly sparks the feeling of happiness. On the skin, it soon becomes powdery, probably because of rarely used carrot note. It also has a woody accord in the base but never gets too dark and stays nicely fresh.

It is a different kind of freshie, that is very enjoyable. The scent is not worn out at all.

Its performance is also good. Projects quite strongly for at least the first two hours. On the skin, it lasts for around 8 hours.

I would say it is completely unisex. Quite versatile as well. Probably, mostly for the spring or summer, but I enjoy it in early autumn as well.

Summer in a bottle!

Verte Euphorie is an excellent juicy citrus fragrance that opens up with a blast of blood orange and citrus notes. So it’s super tangy and bitter. Like a sour fretting cocktail. Bright & uplifting fragrance with an aromatic nature that has the potential to lift the mood in a second really. I get an opulent and rich orange blossom vibe in it that takes me to a white sand beach somewhere in the tropics. ⁣

I can’t really pinpoint any other fragrance that smells like it but it surely checks all the boxes when it comes to being an excellent summer staple. The warmer the skin gets the more it shines. ⁣

Definitely worth a sample if you are looking for a fragrance that doesn't break a bank and smells amazing.

For teenager gentleman ;)

Joyful but savory,
youthful but old-school.

It’s almost perfect blood orange. With creamy and fresh twist. But it turns into archetypical citric cologne. It’s fresh and outdated on the same time.

It’s a cold lemonade on the shady summer terrace or a gin for a plenty of lime for older crowd :)

It’s still likable. But please don’t be so boring ;)

Opus I

The opening is a chemical lemon. The one that's well known from cheap detergents. I'm waiting for the heart notes.

5 minutes later some woods are trying to fight their way to the top. Nonetheless, the whole thing is still dominated by that citrus note, only gets more sweet. Unbelievably synthetic.

Later on, when the transformation is done, it converts into a lemon pie and stays there to the end. Fortunately the end isn't long to wait for.

I want to drink it straight away!

With Verte Euphorie, the house of L'Atelier Parfum delivers a very authentic citrus unisex fragrance. The whole thing is fresh and yet not too simple. The citrus is in the foreground, although I think I can smell a note in the background that reminds me of ACE juice. This could well be the carrot registered in the heart notes. There is also a slight creamy quality in the background, which I find difficult to describe but which appeals to me. The fragrance has become an absolute favorite of mine, which I like to spray on my arm in the evening to sniff it, just for myself. H/S are quite okay, on the skin I perceive the fragrance well for up to 4 hours, after that the performance flattens out. With an RRP of approx. 70€ for 50ml, you can only say "absolutely fair". Highly recommended! If you like citrus fragrances that aren't boring, this is the one for you. The other fragrances of the house are also consistently interesting.
