An Explosion of Sweet Spices
I'm loving everything about this fragrance: the sweet spices, tobacco, woods, and warm musk. I originally looked to sampling Krea because I wanted to find a more dominant cinnamon that didn't smell like Big Red or Hot Tamales and fortunately, this delivered. It opens with an explosion of the pink pepper and cinnamon (which is woody and not synthetically sweet) with a little bergamot that find a little strange, but not off-putting. The bergamot dissipates quickly, though, and then the tobacco comes through. I find it particularly interesting with the cinnamon considering a lot tobacco scents I like lean more into clove, but this tobacco has some spicy heat to it! There is also an underlying earthiness and a little clean skin saltiness with vanilla in the drydown. The vanilla+tobacco pairing has been done so many times and Krea does that element, but the spice and muskiness stick around, making the vanilla more dry/light rather than sticky/boozy.
It's such a deliciously spicy and smoky fragrance with a subtle amount of earthiness and woodiness. The sweetness rounds it all out. It's not a radically different fragrance, but it has some unique nuances that made it an instant love for me.
