Concipio Lumi 2024

There is a lot going on, especially in the opening of this fragrance, that I'm struggling to describe the scent well. It's a chaotic melange of fruity and floral notes to my nose. I can distinctly detect the peach, but for the most part, I find it thickly sweet from the scent of very ripe fruits over violet. It's heavy and slightly stomach churning with how much is going on, like my nose is too confused by the mix of citrus, peach, violet - then jasmine, and vanilla.
It gets better once the opening dissipates, however, and I can understand why this has been described as a caramel and vanilla fragrance. I mainly get those notes into the dry down with a little citrus and peach remaining, but I can't detect much patchouli or moss. The drydown puts this in the same vein as Xerjoff's Lira (not the same scent overall, but similar in the base.) It seems from various reviews I've read online, people get different vibes from this, so maybe others will test this and think I'm way off base in my description. I knew this would likely be on the sweeter side, but it still wasn't what I was expecting. I much prefer Krea from this same house!
