Surely many people feel the same way as I do: If you are active on social media, it is probably almost impossible to avoid this hyped fragrance. But does it live up to what it promises?

This fragrance gets an awful lot right. It opens wonderfully citrusy, fruity and fresh. In the first few minutes, it smells almost a little like a fruit candy to me. But not unpleasant or overpowering. And I am really not a fan of sweet fragrances in general. This one, however, hits a “sweet spot” in the truest sense of the word. What remains afterwards really is in a league of its own: The combination of citrus, sweetness and woody notes gives the fragrance outstanding depth. Combined with the truly astonishing longevity - easily 7 to 9 hours on my skin - this fragrance really is a no-brainer in my opinion. I have only smelled the original once and still claim that Belgravia captures the DNA extremely well. And at a fraction of the price.

The only real drawback is availability. It is not easy to get hold of and, price-wise, it is also on the more expensive side for a “dupe”. For me, however, it is still an absolutely clear recommendation. Even for someone who has never smelled the original. In my opinion, it is also suitable as a blind buy!

As it develops, it reveals a soft, floral depth supported by resinous and subtly woody facets, lending it a calm, refined structure. The sillage is moderate to well perceptible, yet always remains stylish and never overloaded, making the fragrance particularly suitable for everyday wear. Its longevity is also convincing, with a solid, long-lasting presence on the skin that unfolds pleasantly over many hours. The base remains warm, ambery and gently sweet, with a rounded, pleasantly lasting softness that gradually fades on the skin. The bottle reinforces this elegant character with a simple, high-quality design that reflects the fragrance's modern direction. In terms of value for money, it is overall in the fair range, as both quality and performance are well balanced.
