Synthetic milk
This is milky but not in a delicious, creamy way. It is synthetic and somewhat piercing -- particularly at the very beginning. Upon first spray, it tickles my nose. For me, it was quite linear throughout the whole wear time. I did not get any plum at all.

It had quite good longevity and sillage for me -- around 6-8 hours. So if you like the scent, you are in luck. And from what I've smelled of Commodity Milk (I've never worn it, but I've sampled it on a test strip), they do seem very similar.

Unfortunately, I will be decluttering this.

Sweet Illusion, Chemical Reality (Commodity Milk Alternative)
Milky Way initially sounds like a lactonic-sweet gourmand dream.
However, what you get here is something completely different.

The opening is so piercing that I had to cough; that almost never happens to me.
What I smell next is hard to put into words.
A synthetic plum, accompanied by an undefinable, slightly creamy, spicy-sweet note.
But what is that supposed to be?
Milk or caramel smell completely different to me.
With a lot of imagination, one might catch a hint of caramel here, but it really requires a great deal of creativity.
Overall, the scent comes across to me as a pure chemical club.

In the drydown, unfortunately, it doesn't get any better.
The fragrance becomes a bit spicier, while the plum in the background radiates a slightly fruity-synthetic aura.
In this chemical cloud, I also think I can detect some iris root.

Towards the end, the fragrance becomes a bit sweeter with vanilla, although I can't clearly smell the vanilla; it only adds a diffuse sweetness to the scent.
Again, one has to use a lot of imagination to perceive ylang-ylang; the fragrance never becomes truly floral.
Overall, it remains a sweet-spicy chemical chaos with a hint of iris root and a plum in the background that, by the end, doesn't really smell like plum anymore.

I see the fragrance more on a woman than on a man, although the classification as unisex still fits (W70%/30%M).

The performance is in the good middle range.
The projection could be stronger, although it might even be better that the scent isn't more intense.
The longevity on my skin is about six hours.

Conclusion: Unfortunately, I don't know the original "Milk | Commodity," but if it really smells like Milky Way, then good night.
One of the worst fragrances I have tested recently, so I clearly do not recommend purchasing it.

Bad in warmer spice milk
As an absolute fan of lactonic, creamy fragrances, I could hardly wait for this scent to finally be available for purchase after the first teasers on social media!

Milky Way starts warm, spicy, milky, and has a great projection. Over time, this, as well as the sillage, recedes a bit. In my experience, lactonic scents simply need the warmth of the skin. So I dive into a fragrant milk bath with plum, cashmere, tonka bean, and sandalwood. For me, the scent does not develop, which I find absolutely fine in this case due to the already strong start. Thus, the notes listed in the DD are already nicely perceivable from the beginning. Caramel and vanilla are rather less prominent for me, so if you are primarily hoping for these fragrance notes, I recommend other classics in this direction instead.

For me, it is definitely a strong and affordable alternative to Commodity Milk (and Milk+) and for lovers of this fragrance direction, it is certainly a blind buy candidate. After nearly 15 new acquisitions this year, Milky Way ranks among my top 3. I love it!

Something doesn't sit right on my skin. It smells like sesame seeds that has gone bad... with (burnt) milk?

It smells like a great fragrance layered with chloraseptic throat spray.

Very milky scent with oriental-spicy notes, exceptional fragrance. The sweetness isn't overwhelming, lightly floral and powdery.

Nice idea. Unfortunately, there's a sharp off-note that strongly resembles Ambroxan.

I don't know the Milk, but here I only get something very synthetic, stuffy, nothing creamy, nothing lactonic. Just dusty with spices.

Woody, creamy, and sweet.
It hugs the skin beautifully. A cozy scent through and through. Reminds me of Sissa or "Milk | Commodity."

Head over heels! Milky warm sweetness is balanced by subtle spice. Perfect alone or layered with more vanilla or something smoky. H/S top!

For me, it's piercing, synthetic.
Very bad, it gives me headaches.
Candidate for washing off.

43 with milk for spraying. Creamy, sweet, gourmand. Interesting, but I'm not quite warming up to it yet.
