Flamingo on steroids I A "clean scent" with an orange twist on bestial performance!

The Orange Flamingo was always recommended to me as the strongest fresh scent and I just couldn't imagine enough of it; so buy a bottle, test it!

But now to Orange Flamingo, what is my point-of-view?

- The opening comes with a blast of oranges; of course, the name says it all. The orange is really prominent at the beginning and blasts from all corners, rustic and loud!
- After that, the fragrance moves very strongly in a "fresh wash" direction and the orange recedes a little, but still remains in the background. The combination of jasmine and lily of the valley dominate together with woody accords until it goes into a musk-based drydown.

- The projection here is really extremely strong, the fragrance still pops out extremely well after hours and the longevity leaves nothing to be desired. If you're looking for a long-lasting fragrance, you've come to the right place!
What I would not agree with, however, is that the fragrance is a "summer" fragrance, certainly not for the height of summer. It's simply too overwhelming and heavy for that. I find it best in spring or on colder summer days, as this clean note was unpleasantly oppressive for me and those around me in midsummer.

In addition, the fragrance is rather rustic - not to be understood negatively. A lot of emphasis was placed on H/S, and I think the finesse suffers a little from this. The individual accords over the course of the fragrance are simply all there somehow and then burst at the seams.

Nevertheless, I find the fragrance pleasant and successful overall and I think that the unique performance and the Gebauer brand in particular make it a good addition to the collection.
