Winter Beautiful Wonder Oud
It is winter, it has been snowing outside for weeks and my supplies are slowly running low, I just can't get to the valley, I only have a small sample left. Let's see if it works.
It is winter, it has been snowing outside for weeks and my supplies are slowly running low, I can't get to the valley, I only have a small sample left.
But what does my nose see? There is actually a fresh piece of agarwood in the corner, and it's from China too. I take a closer look, hmmmm nicely dry and resinous. I will work on it right away, then the idea comes to me: with a chisel, I slowly carve into the wood, carefully scraping off the bark, a bright shine illuminates the whole room. After that, I separate the head from the trunk, saw myself many beams, and hang them to dry over the fireplace. I dissolve cocoa milk and lacquer resins together and apply the essential mixture to the oud wood. I wait
grounded for half an hour until it has nicely soaked in. Now I can saw it
I do it right, it fits, I just need to
connect the woods with grass blades
a final finish with eucalyptus glaze
and my sled is ready. The oud is almost gone, but I still have a seat made of pine wood from last year that fits well at the end.
There is still enough time, the sled will definitely last another 8 hours.
I’ll just put my feet up first.
I like it, it's nice and cozy, firewood freshly cut, a wooden cabin in winter. I’m crafting something out of antique wood in my little DIY workshop.
The glaze and turpentine are in the air, green resinous heartwood, ethereal balsamic, exudes an incense wood mist
earthy, smoky, and a little leather accompany the oud throughout, very clean and emission-free, CO2 compliant, climate-neutral, and crystal clear.
The only downside is, where are my calves?️
Thanks to the sled driver Schoeibksr for the testing opportunity.
