Too syrupy
At first spray I get hit with a very, very photorealistic dried tapioca pearls scent. Those of you who tried making bubble tea at home will know what I'm talking about. It's that exact same smell when I open my bag of dried tapioca pearl, before I yeet them into the boiling water.
Then, it's a very sweet, sugary caramel scent, a bit lactonic. Kinda generic, if you like caramel fragrances, you might like this one.
So in a sense, it's close to the bubble tea smell, but, where is the black tea note?? That note was the reason I was excited about this perfume, I was waiting for that round, slightly bitter, earthy depth to balance out the overly sickly sweet caramel note, but it never came.
Not too bad overall, but a bit cloying, a bit too sweet for my taste, and it's not wearable when the weather is warmer. Wearing this in summer is a big no no.
