Berry Oud - Very crude
I wanted to like this scent.
After all, I had only heard good things about London Extrait de Parfum and finally seemed to have found an affordable alternative.
I tried, but I don't like it.
It starts, as others have described here, VERY unevenly. But one can overlook that considering the price, because after about 30 minutes, it settles down.
What bothers me much more is this rather penetrating barnyard note that this fragrance emits. Yes, I know, some Oud has that quality, but this one is too much.
I can clearly perceive raspberry, leather is a bit more subtle.
I also can't fully understand the reviews regarding longevity and sillage. Yes, it lasts, but not forever and a day. I find the sillage to be below average for a leather/Oud fragrance.
The bottle is quite pretty, the sprayer is okay.
Maybe I expected too much, or perhaps one shouldn't be so easily dazzled by a 9+ rating.
