Old Guitar Shop with Many Rugs and Leather Straps
Fresh start with fleeting floral notes, the cardamom note kicks in typically fresh and spicy.
Gradually more leather, but not the Arabic leather with a lot of punch, rather like a European trying to recreate an Arabic perfume. I believe the oud gives off a smoky quality here. Woods and patchouli come through well, no note dominates. Nice blend, strong but wearable. Woody-leathery-spicy really captures it well, without being thick in the air. A dark scent that is not too heavy and occasionally pricks the nose with ylang-ylang when sniffed directly.
Towards the end, the leather seems to merge with the saffron, like an old book bound in leather, so not synthetic and very authentic.
