The Color of Air Mystikum 2025

I discovered this perfume and this brand at Esxence and was drawn to the retro look of the packaging

This perfume is my favorite.
It reminds me of a landscape in Tuscany and smells of fresh air, developing a very elegant and subtle sillage (not like a bombastic smoky oud like The Moonlight Ceremony - too much, too dark for me...) and City of King is a bit too sweet for me.

This "The color of Air" lasts well on me and also on my boyfriend's skin.
(I still find it rather masculine)...
I perceive the fruity notes in a very subtle way, but I love the sensual scent of patchouli that lingers on the skin.

I also think it smells good like a Louis Vuitton with a lot of musk (sometimes I can't smell it); this is exactly the example of the current trend: quiet luxury.
This is an EDP that I can imagine for the brand Loro Piana…

I recommend it to anyone who likes subtle perfumes like Déclaration, Voyage d'Hermès, or some Bvlgari…

A name that is undoubtedly great, an exciting fragrance pyramid combined with high personal curiosity made me eagerly await the sample.
I was especially curious about the blackberry and the rather new note "Frostwood".

The fragrance starts with an almost solitary fruit note, led by the kumquats.
Here the misery began, as this fruity cloud was clearly too citrusy and definitely not fresh enough.
In this respect, I hoped for "Frostwood," which is supposed to convey cold air, green, woody, and earthy components. Admittedly, a bit of subtle freshness returned briefly, but there were no signs of fresh green and earthy notes, let alone "cold air".
At best, there was a sweetish touch that could lean towards pine, but overall the synthetic notes here do not do themselves any favors!

I can clearly express at this point that this fragrance is a farce for me.
If you look at the price, the fragrance is at 220 euros for 100 ml.

If anyone is still expecting a development, I must disappoint them.
Because the only development this fragrance undergoes goes in the direction of skin closeness.
This insignificant, mundane, brittle, boring fruity cloud loses all its power after 2 hours despite 4 sprays on the back of the hand.
What remains for the last hour, as this high-priced fragrance does not last more than three hours, is a slightly woody, softly ambered note that couldn't be more meaningless.
Anyone who remembers the test pattern from earlier on TV can somewhat imagine how usable this fragrance might seem...

Perhaps it may once again be due to my skin, but overall and considering the price-performance ratio, this is one of the worst fragrances that have come my way so far.

I look forward to further opinions on this and, as always, explicitly state that I do not wish to offend any friend of this fragrance. Nevertheless, sometimes clear words are needed, especially at this price, to give space to one's disappointment.
