wow, this one smells good! The comparison with Aventus can’t be avoided: you’ve got a citrus, pineapple, patchouli, and some amberwoods at the base. However, Anelo is just superior imo.

When I sprayed it on, my first thought was “oh no, not again”. But then I kept smelling it and smelling it. And this is definitely worth the buy.

I believe it is the work of Andreas Wilhelm, who has already created a few masterpieces for pernoire, including Amoral (my favorite from the brand), and Mansa (A&O 2023 finalist). Swiss perfumery has nothing to be ashamed of!

Pafory Advent Calendar 2025 - day 4:
First impression: A bright, fruity fragrance reminiscent of Erba Pura, God of Fire, Ingenious Ginger, and Vibrato - sharing a similar DNA, and this is not the Aventus DNA as the previous review states. However, despite being similar to these fragrances, I couldn't stop smelling my wrist ... because I love this DNA ... evidently.
Also, I have no idea why it costs that much. 250€ for a 50ml?! That's just insane.

Anelo wears like a fruit smoothie enjoyed on a hot summer day, smooth, refreshing, and quietly comforting. It is a very soft and gentle interpretation of fruity freshness, where the notes are blended so seamlessly that no single fruit fully takes the spotlight. Pineapple and honey pomelo form the heart of the scent, creating a lightly juicy brightness with a subtle honeyed warmth that feels natural and calming rather than sweet or sharp.

The composition stays intentionally minimal, with little distraction beyond the fruits, which allows its soothing character to shine. As the fragrance develops, the honey pomelo introduces a gentle citrus sparkle, more reminiscent of softened grapefruit zest than true carbonation. This adds lift and airiness without disrupting the smooth, blended texture. The result subtly leans toward a Tygar DNA, yet remains more restrained and mellow. Anelo never aims to impress through power or projection. Instead, it offers an easy, balanced wear that feels effortlessly pleasant and perfectly suited to warm weather.

I got a sample and it became a bottle in a few weeks.

First impression:
It opens with vibrant notes of pineapple, grapefruit, and citrus, followed by a smooth blend of mango and ginger. With a base of amber, patchouli, and vetiver. Very creamy.
It feels familiar, somewhat like Hacivat, L'Immensité, Aventus, and Vibrato, but of all of them, perhaps the opening of Hacivat is the most similar, although in this case, mango is the main protagonist.
Xerjoff Erba Gold might be the closest, but it's too sweet.
Soft, refined, easy to wear, and stimulating. Medium-high longevity without being a beast, with acceptable projection.
Overall unisex, perhaps a little more masculine.
It's a fragrance for spring and summer, one of those that brightens your day as soon as you wear it.
Try it; I don't think you'll dislike it. The price is up to you.

Right off the opening is honey Pamalo, and it’s amazing. Stays in the dry down a bit. This is such an amazing smell, I just wish it wasn’t so expensive. Layering this with L’Immensite gives an unreal smell, the added ginger notes really uplift this one. Great longevity, even better when layered. One of the few bottles I’d pay 250+ for only 50ml’s. Worth every penny for this liquid gold
