Poor Dior Sauvage?
After reading some opinions of the Novellista brand, I created a certain expectation about this fragrance. I took a chance blindly, today I was able to finally prove it, forgive me the admirers (if any), but what a disappointment!

At the top, I feel something that reminds me of Invictus, but this similarity only lasts until it dries, then it reminds me of Sauvage, damn, how they look like! The worst thing is that despite remembering the Sauvage, it is a poor copy of what Dior offers (I think the Sauvage is wonderful, even if it is massified).

The performance is very bad (looking at the price), while if we compare it to the Dior Sauvage's performance... well, I don't think there's any comparison at all!

I don't recommend buying it blindly, it's not worth the price (99€ for 75ml, they must be crazy!).

I open the window...
... in the kitchen while making my green salad with tomatoes on Sunday afternoon, I prepare a pepper steak. The scent of blooming flowers from the garden I mowed comes through the window. I take the salad out to the terrace, turn the steak one more time, take it out of the pan, let it rest again, and grab the cutting board from the cupboard. I place the steak on it, take the cutting board, the sauce, and the cutlery, and enjoy my lunch on the terrace.

When applying this fragrance, the first thing that hits the nose is a sharp, fresh pepper scent. Floral and woody accords blend in. It is lightly sweetened. And then something appears that is not listed in the fragrance pyramid: Ambroxan. This gives the scent a freshness that lingers and adds a masculine accent to it.

What I still don’t understand is that this fragrance is really poorly received by some. It is certainly not the be-all and end-all, but it is a well-wearable scent.

The longevity and sillage are good.

Here we have a fragrance from Novellista that was launched as a unisex scent. Personally, I see it more suited for men due to its masculine twist than for women. But please, my dear ladies, try it out for yourselves. Wearable from around 20 years and up, as always open. It can be worn year-round. During the day, it pairs well with a suit, with or without a tie, in jeans, and for those who want, also in gym clothes. In the evening, in a club, a bar, a disco, or at dinner with a loved one.

Anyone who enjoys a sharp, fresh, floral, lightly sweet, woody, masculine pepper scent with a generous portion of Ambroxan will feel right at home here.

I can only smell ambroxan (or ambergood, if you please).
No pepper, no violet.... just pure ambroxan.
Luckily not so strong as Sauvage.

Synthetic recreation of a decrepit wooden shed half-eaten by dry rot. Whatever valuables were inside – long since turned to dust. Pathetic.

Dupe of a slightly fruitier version of Dior Sauvage. Not a bad one but for the price you better go with the original

I didn't like it at all, because it's a poor copy of Sauvage (which I love). Discreet and expensive. Next!

A low quality Dior Sauvage. Inferior in every way and massively overpriced. Maybe at 20-30€ it would be acceptable…

Great start - citrusy with earthy-herb elements, damp-mossy-floral / broken off, bland-synthetic, shapeless pseudo-woody

As unique as a streetlight. Fougère notes in the typical men's fragrance style of the '90s. The pyramid makes limited sense.

Lavender with a few spices and fresh notes on a tonka-vanilla sweetness. I definitely don't find it "juuniieek," rather snooze-worthy.

Starts off very exciting for me. Feels elegant and gentlemanly. But after a few minutes, it turns sweet-synthetic-nondescript.
