Oakcha's Doctor Queen
I know this perfume is supposed to be a homage or smell similar to Dr. Pepper (or at least that is how it was marketed), but to me it just does not do that.
The opening is very heavy on the ginger, lemon and orange. You do get the cherry once sprayed on the skin, but it is easily taken over by the citrus, but you can still feel its essence. You definitely get the spice of the clove and cinnamon, which lingers throughout the sweetness of the cherry and citrus. I didn't get much musk from it as it settled but the vanilla and sandalwood does make it dry down nicely with the amber peeking through.
If you want a realistic Dr. Pepper perfume, this isn't the one, although it is nice to smell. You get the essence of Dr. Pepper more in the dry down but it has more spice than sweetness to me.
