Kayali Yum Boujee Marshmallow 81

This is really very nice. It does remind me of Bath & Body Works Strawberry Snowflakes but that's not a bad thing, since that fragrance is also very nice.
I spritzed myself liberally and even though I could smell it on myself all day at work (and still this evening), it really is a "personal" scent, it doesn't project well, it would be a very light scent trail, if any at all.
Yum Boujee Marshmallow gives me a creamy, lactonic strawberry with sweet marshmallow, toasted coconut, musk and ambroxan.
The coconut sneaks up on you and plays a game of peek-a-boo throughout the day. I quite enjoyed being surprised by a whiff of it here and there but it is in no way coconut heavy. If you don't care for musk or ambroxan, be warned because you can smell them in the base, anchoring the fragrance.
If you are someone who is bothered by performance issues in perfume then this one may annoy you but if that's not a deal breaker and you like sweet, lactonic, fruity scents then you will probably love this.
No regrets from me. It's cozy, comforting and yummy indeed!

A synthetic mess

Oh no, I wanted to love this so much! Everyone recommends it as a strawberry milk/marshmallow scent, which sounds like an ideal perfume to me!

I got a sample and tested it this morning, and had to scrub it off me because it was so synthetic.
I did my best and gave it two hours to dry down, but even then it just smelled like sweet plastic and chemicals to me. No fruitiness, no creamy lactonic notes. It's a no from me.

Instant love

I feel like I can be so picky with perfumes, but this was an instant love for me! It smells so nostalgic, like those strawberry nesquik drinks that were popular in the early 2000s. My only complaint is that it lasts for 2-3 hours tops. Makes me want to try one of the dupes to see if they have better lasting power

Not a Kayali fan but it won me over

I am not a Kayali fan - I don’t dislike them, I just have never felt strongly about them as a brand. I feel the need to start my review with that because I know Kayali gets sooo much hype that I think sometimes people just automatically don’t trust any positive reviews of the fragrances.

Anyway, wowwww, this really did take me by surprise. I rated this so highly because this is the first strawberry note I’ve liked that has not gone in a super artificial direction. YBM really is a realistic soft strawberry milkshake scent. It’s creamy, sweet, soft. Good enough to eat. Never thought I’d enjoy smelling like a marshmallow but damn, this fragrance does it. Mona Kattan really did nail it here.

And it’s also not supposed to be taken super seriously. I know the “Gen-Z slang” name has gotten a lot of negative feedback, and I get it, but at the same time I think it suits the fragrance, especially if you’ve seen the marketing. It’s supposed to be fun, campy, over-the-top. Very girly, very carefree. I have, own, and love several “fragrance masterpieces,” but sometimes I also just want something easy and fun and Yum Boujee Marshmallow is that.

Tl;dr: not usually my thing but I love it.

Strawberries and Whipped Cream!

Wow.... I really love this perfume! I'm pleasantly surprised because every other Kayali perfume I've smelled has just been "meh" to me, but not this one. It's really sweet and dries down powdery on my skin. I agree with the other reviewers who say it smells like a strawberry milkshake-- that's a spot on description! It's so light and girly and I just LOVE it.

This is honestly the first Kayali fragrance I've considered buying a full bottle of. The only thing stopping me is that I think the sillage is a bit weak and the longevity is just okay (It lasts around 4-5 hours on me). But I might just cave and buy a full bottle anyways because this is a really nice perfume!
