I like it but I'm not impressed by it

This is a guilty pleasure for me. I don't like many of Sol de Janeiro scents, and I didn't quite understand what I like about this one but it is hard for me to go without it. Maybe it's because it is so hard ro find something with a prominent pistachio in it.

Smells like a bowl of candied nuts to me. Definitely caramel-y. My problem is there is something so artificial about it especially on skin, but still, I can't give it up. Don't blind buy.

The sillage and longevity are good considering it is a body spray. Don't believe people saying it outlasts perfumes or anything, not true. But it is a well performing body spray. I really like the perfume version.

A summer dessert that is still wearable

This is a testament to how good this fragrance is, that not a single one of the notes on its own would say "summer" or "fresh and clean" to me, yet this is such a nice, sweet, after the shower scent, I can't help but feel clean when I wear it. This is one of those that yes, it's overhyped. Yes, everyone wears it so it's not unique. But it is undeniably so well done and delicious and memorable, that whenever I smell in on someone else I feel validated in my love for it. It also performs so well, especially in hair and clothes!

Would eat if I could

As someone who lives in a really hot, tropical, and humid environment, this is one of the few really sweet body mists that go well with the climate. This is very important to note because most of the time, overly cloying perfumes in the summer are AWFUL, especially in humid weather. This though isn't that.

Nutty!

Based on the reviews i've read i must say that this really do smell like nougat. In the opening the smell of almond is very prominent as well as the caramel as it dries down that's where i detect very little jasmine and the vanilla. This is very very sweet but i love it!

Famous for a reason

This scent really does "smell incredibly delicious." It lasts a long time, and can be layered with same-scented products like shampoo, conditioner, hair oil, deodorant, and body cream. The shampoo, conditioner, and top notes of the fragrance I applied today did have kind of a "Play Doh" smell, but that eventually went away.
I originally ordered it because I love pistachio, and yes there's a hint of that, but by the time it dries down it's mostly vanilla and the florals, jasmine and heliotrope (which is supposed to have almond/marzipan and spicy licorice notes, which explains why some people detect almond, and hubby said he smelled something spicy). He also said it reminded him of a higher-end Vegas hotel scent.

It says it has "salted caramel," but caramel is not a traditional perfumery ingredient, and salt doesn't have a scent, so I'm not sure what's going on tbere. It says the base is sandalwood, but I strongly dislike sandalwood, so I can tell you there's not a lot there. I did smell patchouli, and even a bit of 700s musk at one point. In the mid time, the base reminded me of old school Opium but mixed with creamy florals. The dry down is warm and sweet. No wonder it's that company's top fragrance.

Not worth it's price- too light and not long lasting at all. But a delicious, fresh, gourmand scent. Love it, but I recommend a cheap dupe alternative

10/10 scent!! Addicting and I crave to smell it during the day. Sweet and nutty and cozy. Vanilla and cream. Wish it lasted longer.

Okay. so this is hyped for a reason. Nothing else smells quite like this for so cheap. The roasted nuts plus caramel smell is delicious.

Verrry sweet which is good with the right layering perfumes. Honestly can’t smell the body spray on my clothes or self after an hour which is a bummer
