Mineral Water Odetú 2020

Did you know that in Germany there is a so-called Mineral Water Regulation that strictly defines what is considered drinkable water and how it must be labeled? And that this regulation also includes that if you order mineral water in a café, restaurant, or other dining establishment, it must be served in a sealed bottle or flask? Most of the time, it is opened and poured in front of you, but you should never be served a glass of mineral water directly!

The reasoning behind this is understandable, as guests should be protected from being charged for expensive carbonated tap water.

However, anyone who sniffs "Mineral Water" by Odetú directly on their wrist after spraying it will immediately have the illusion of a sparkling, zesty mineral water complete with a slice of lemon right in front of them. The lemon is not listed in the pyramid, but somehow it is present and fits perfectly into the olfactory picture.

Andrey Chibisov, as the perfumer, has not only shown creativity but has also skillfully blended his ingredients. Although I can hardly recognize any of the other ingredients besides ozone, aquatic notes, minerals, and a bit of aldehydes, the refreshing result speaks for itself. It doesn’t weigh heavily if "Mineral Water" bubbles up with one or two synthetic nuances and its longevity is just a bit longer, like when you sip from a large glass of water.

Otherwise: more than suitable for summer and definitely something unusual in terms of fragrance.
It's just a question of how one is supposed to get hold of Russian fragrances these days. Let’s hope for the best for the future ...
