A short cherry
My first review here. I'm relatively new to the fragrance world, but I'm trying to dive right in.
I've been following the Youtuber inscope21 for a while. I really liked his taste in fragrances and when he said: I'm launching a new fragrance! i was immediately curious. Thank goodness you have souks/sharing here. I immediately ordered 5ml to test. Thanks again to Karl!
But now quickly to the perfume.
The first test was 2 sprays on each wrist. A very intense sour cherry enters the stage and roars loudly: CAN YOU ALL SMELL ME?!!! Its buddy the almond (unroasted, without skin) joins in somewhat intimidated in the background. With the 2nd buddy saffron, the fragrance really pops and makes the nose hairs flutter. After a good 15-25 minutes, the cherry runs out of breath (from all the roaring) and slowly but surely leaves the stage in reverse gear. At the same time, his old buddy Leder takes over. Sour and saffron stay for a moment and support Leder at the beginning. I think Mandel had already fled the room after 10 minutes.... a very short job at that point. Leder continues to do his thing until he brings his wingman Rauch on stage after about 50-70 minutes. The two work well together until Rauch claims the stage for himself. What kind of smoke, you ask? For me, it's something along the lines of a smoking man. The green cone...which fits extremely well at Christmas time. This concert lasted about 3-4 hours for me, then it got very close, so it was cuddle time without smelling extremely like incense smokers.
I also tested the whole procedure again in the crook of my arm (you know, Corona sneeze and cough spot). This concert was somehow different!
Longer, without this extreme smoke and after 5 hours it smelled somehow pleasantly like a very light shower gel.... a very good shower gel.
The third test was then full on! 8 squirts on the neck, nape and hair.
Same result as the crook of the arm.
Conclusion: this fragrance is really beautifully made. It puts on its own show...it changes, it plays with your nose. Is it a lost cherry killer? No. It's a cherry scent at the beginning, but not at the end.
I would like to like it extremely much, but then I'm more on the side of fragrances that don't change so much.
I hope I haven't written any nonsense here and have somehow been able to create an image. Of course, everyone perceives it differently, but that's how it was for me.
