Sterile, stuffy florals
Smells exactly like the pink seashell soap my mother kept for company during her vintage, Victorian-esque phase in the late 90s. Lace curtains, dense floral patterns, teddy bears and cherubs everywhere. You get the idea. If these associations sound unpleasant at all, skip this one. The rose is incredibly loud right off the bat, but it's not fresh rose, more like the dried petals in a potpourri bowl. If I focus, I can smell the lemon, but it's artificial and screechy, like a cleaning product. After an hour or so, it evolves into a damp, slightly musty jasmine scent. Like dryer sheets in a mildewy laundry room. I really wanted to like this, but it has all of the qualities I want to avoid in a floral perfume. Musty, scratchy, artificial.

Window2Fall
It seems the general consensus is that it’s a transitional scent from Spring to Summer but the scent seems to evoke more of a Summer to Fall. Maybe because one of the underlying notes is lemon? However, due to the oil like nature of the perfume that lingers and seems to grow after application, I’ve found the scent more favorable heading into the spice heavy season - almost complimenting other scents that the American Autumn exudes.

Nice top, iffy base.
I was testing Window2Soul for springtime and really enjoyed the opening: reminiscent of sipping a lemonade in an herb garden However, as it dried down, I picked up on a note or accord that smelled a bit like feet, so I couldn’t buy it, sadly. Hopefully it likes your skin better than it did mine! I will often jump in the ocean with perfume on, and even though this is an oil blend, I couldn’t really detect it after taking a swim (you’d be shocked how many frags can last through a dunk in the ocean- all her other releases had better staying power)! I want to love Orebella frags, but there is consistently something in the DNA that just doesn’t agree with my skin chemistry. Nightcap was my favorite, but I had to sell it due to the “Carmex” accord I’ve seen in other reviews. Looking forward to their next release anyway!

fancy , elegant bathroom scent ?
this scent is very iffy to me , i don’t hate it but it’s not a fragrance i would reach for. the lemon and rose clash together in a very elegant way but there’s something in here that makes it smell like a public bathroom kinda ?? weirdly it’s also very nostalgic to me. it reminds me of how goodwill or any thrift store smelled like as a kid. i would use this as a night out scent while wearing my most elegant dress , expensive jewelry , and designer heels , could possibly also be a daytime date scent. not sure if this lasts long even thought the oil concentration is higher in these perfumes that most of them are so i’m willing to give it a second chance soon. gets sweeter when it dries down , smells very sophisticated and a little playful. and this would most definitely be my rich “grandma” scent that i would wear when i’m an older woman.

Didn’t expect much....
... and I am pleasantly surprised.

I am testing the fragrance from a discovery set that a friend brought me from the USA.

On the lid of the packaging, it says to shake the testers before applying the fragrance.

If you look closely through the tester, you can see that two clear liquids are separating. It must be an oil-water mixture. So I think to myself not to spray the product on my clothes to avoid stains. What a shame. After shaking, the two substances mix, so the texture is now milky.

The spraying is not really spraying but more like "spitting." Probably because the oil makes the mixture too heavy for the fine sprayer.

After this ritual, which I conducted out of curiosity, the fragrance is finally on my skin, and I must say, it smells good!
I’m not usually a big fan of sweet and floral scents on myself. I associate it with my youth and find it either too girly, too youthful, or too sweet. But here it’s somehow different.

It’s not the most complex composition, and it doesn’t develop particularly, but the softness somehow pleased me. I don’t know why. Maybe because I expected an overly sweet, alcohol-piercing teenage scent?

The opening is zesty/floral, but after just a few seconds, the sweet rose gently merges with the skin. This scent stays that way. For me, it’s musky, soft. Like I’ve just applied cream, and with a hint of vanilla from the tonka bean. Every now and then, a slightly disturbing synthetic note flashes through, but that diminishes over time.

I also find it interesting that the perfume, according to marketing claims, is supposed to nourish the skin through the "bi-phases" (just marketing, of course). Still, I must say that I have never encountered this form of fragrance before, and it doesn’t feel drying at all but rather like I’ve applied cream.

In summary, it’s a good fragrance for the price, even if it only lasts a few hours (about 3 - 4 for me). And somehow, the application through shaking & spitting was fun. I haven’t tested a perfume with such curiosity in a long time.

Still undecided. More aromatic than your typical rose. Top notes feel soapy on me but dry into a fresher, sweeter scent.

Too sweet, reminiscent of your basic "feminine floral vanilla from Ulta". Nothing to write home about.

There is no alcohol in this perfume, so it sprays on like a very thin lotion, which is interesting. Generic floral. Cool concept

An earthy rose lemon on my skin that makes me feel like I’m at an outdoor botanical garden in the countryside.

top note is soapy and has a lavender feel - dries down gorgeously sweet, woody, and slightly herbal.

Smells like grandma soap with a hint of lemon cleaner. Not my thing and doesn't project very far. Interesting formula though.

Like a late summer afternoon: unsweetened rose tea + butter cookies dusted with powdered sugar in a garden full of ferns and flowers - bees buzzing.
