Sunset in a bottle

Having owned this wonderful creation for a few months now I’ve had time to wear it, get to know it, understand it.

It’s pretty much a golden, spicy amber but a very special one.

Its depth combined with the rays of light makes this an uplifting and rather special wearing.

Warm cardamom powder sprinkled over woody amber. It has Toffee-like facets enveloped in the warmth of exotic balms and woods, stunning and never cloying.

I know Act 2 is supposed to evoke the feelings of watching the rising sun in the morning, blinded by its light.

But to me this is a golden sunset in a bottle, tranquility, silent whispers of special things to come.

Patience pays off in the second act

With no other fragrance in my collection do I have to distract myself so much in the first few minutes after spraying it on ... oh yes, a cup of coffee would be fantastic ...
But what happens after about ten minutes is simply a scent-transformer on a fantasy journey. The pantomime fragrances are excellent at storytelling anyway: in Act 2, we accompany a rower early in the morning in 1967. However, I don't want to go into any further details here, because with fragrances this is ultimately of secondary importance (in my opinion, the story is helpful in arousing interest and deciding to buy), and when effectively sprayed on the skin, very individual associations arise anyway, shaped by personal memories and individual scent associations.

This time, Bisabolene (earthy, fresh) and Cardamom Absolute (spicy, deep) will have you dreaming, simply melting away and sniffing at your skin again and again. Unfortunately, this is meant literally, Act 2 is very restrained. In my opinion, this actor in the second act shouldn't be so shy; for me, he should be louder and more present.
In short: Act 2 magically conveys an inner strength and warmth to me in the cooler months, I already like it a lot on me, but I would celebrate it even more on men's skin.
