Being elegant without words
This fragrance was a sample gift with my purchase. I didn't know the company beforehand.
It's not really a typical fragrance for me, but it still prompted me to write a few lines. In the first few seconds after spraying it on, it seems very chemical and alcoholic (a bit like a disinfectant spray). But after about 5-10 minutes it turns into a fresh powdery, rather elegant woody scent, which is not heavy. I also think I detect a slight fruity note, but I can't place it.
This fruity note disappears after about 30 minutes and a slightly woody, relatively "clean" synthetic fragrance remains on the skin.
So far, the fragrance is okay, but nothing special by far.
But here's the thing:
When my girlfriend wears it, I find the fragrance as described above. On my skin, however, the fragrance takes on something "dark" after 30 minutes. A light oud aroma, but not animalic. And that's exactly what I love about it. The clean woody synthetics with a light breeze of oud that gives the fragrance more depth.
Not a beast fashion fragrance, therefore also very suitable for the office. I smell the fragrance on me for about 7-8 hours and would wear it all year round.
Definitely test how it works on your skin. For me, it's definitely on the "full-size want to have" list.
