Wild? Why?
A tooooo minimal fragrance, maybe even too much. The opening is interesting, a nice fresh cypress, lots of wood and lots of citrus fruits, and on the surface a touch of amber and a ton of iso and super, and then ... enough. mild seasons, but not a perfume that makes your head spin, considering also stillage and scarce duration.
A fresh woody too poor of grit. What will it have then Wild? NOTHING

As wild as a tamed Mustang - shower-fresh respectable man
The bottle is quite amusing. Is that supposed to be a parachute suit? Or the harness of a horse?

What is referred to as wild here was just praised to me by the saleswoman as a "super scent" that is "both fresh and beautifully masculine-spicy".

Well. Let's give the first Dsquared fragrance I encountered some credit for smelling largely natural. If wild is meant in the sense of "far from civilization," I can accept that for the most part.

It starts off green and fresh; I think I can recognize grapefruit, even though it's not listed above. The holy herb, also known as olive herb, is responsible for the subtly herb-fresh-green start, actually reminiscent of olives.

Somehow, a moderate aquatic or ozonic aspect joins in. All in all, however, "Wild" has no notable sillage or fragrance volume. After just 30 minutes, it settles into a very shallow shower gel freshness, supported by the humus accord in terms of underlying green spice.

It doesn't clash, it doesn't hurt anyone. However, it is also far from wild, and the saleswoman's enthusiasm surprises me. As solid as a fresh shower and as extraordinary as the evening news at 8 PM.

Oh yes, this fragrance here was cheap to get, but does that make it inferior?
Well, a 60% approval rating isn’t bad mathematically. But on Parfumo, it's already a stigma for a perfume.
A few years ago, I had the smallest bottle size of this at home, and I used it up completely. Every morning, before heading to the office, I would spray it nicely on the left and right - and I really liked it.

"Have you checked parfumo.de yet?" my subconscious asks.
"No, of course not!" says my very sophisticated fragrance snob self today.

And I catch myself once again paying too much attention to the ratings of the fragrances listed here. Wild would have remained under my radar forever, yet it’s really quite okay. It doesn’t bother anyone, it’s not overwhelming, and it simply suited every weather condition.
When it was used up, I tried a new fragrance (Yes... funny how naive I was back then. First use up a bottle before treating yourself to something new...).
Synthetic? Yes, but so what, it’s still good. Wild is pleasant, fresh, lightly woody, gets along with other people, and is cheap. I can’t remember the listed fragrance notes today. I’ve tested fragrances that were rated much better that weren’t half as good (to my nose). Wild is not a milestone in the art of perfumery (maybe more like a measuring stick), but definitely worth a try.

I don’t want to imagine how many actually good fragrances I’ve clicked away after seeing miserable ratings here. But that’s how it is as a Parfumo enthusiast. By the way, I remember that I also tested Erolfa (6.8) and found it great (after a few repetitions). Perhaps we can talk about poorly rated fragrances being a niche, as they also clash with us "professionals."

Thanks for reading

A Name Full of Irony?
Cool bane-like bottle, male-wild black horse in the advertisement, fitting title... and then: one of the tamest office scents of the year. Dsquared Wild is as wild as a baby after a bottle of red wine. A cleverly ironic deception, or a disappointing misfire?

Either way, many expectations & wishes will burst here... quieter & tamer than a pony - anything but a spirited stallion. The scent is a true wallflower - modern, woody, more than subtle. Cedar & sandalwood, a bit of violet leaf, and there you have the gentlest, but also the most unremarkable, meekest scent of the year. A bit of CdG style in a poor version, but a bit cheaper. But for a scent that is only suitable for yawn-training - no thanks, even at that price. It doesn't hold a candle to Rocky Mountain Wood or direct competitors. Additional downsides include strange smoky synthetic vanity notes in the background that annoy & scratch and do not radiate any sense of adventurousness from the peculiar fragrance pyramid. My prognosis: no success, no long lifespan. Or is the name meant to be sooo ironic?

Bottle: cool, comic-like, horse-themed.
Sillage: Open-plan offices? No problem with 10 sprays.
Longevity: not a whole workday - frustrating 5 hours.

Conclusion: unfortunately, this isn't even a Comme des Garcons for the little man... so much potential wasted.

Bargain Basement
Unfortunately, I can't give a positive review here, as this scent is extremely overpowering and gives me headaches. It comes in a simple bottle adorned with black ribbons. It looks like a bondage object. This vulgar and very cheap implication would also align with the name of the perfume.

When I smelled the fragrance, it brought back memories of the hair salon I had to go to as a child. It smelled just as disgustingly sweet and soapy there, that I was glad to be outside again soon. Since then, I have had a strong aversion to hair salons.

In its scent progression, it doesn't change much. Until the end, it annoyed me with its sweet clubbing method. I wouldn't call that a tension arc, as you get blasted with the ever-present sweetness from start to finish.

At nearly 30 euros for 50 ml, I also find the perfume far too expensive. If you really want a sweet Eau de Toilette for wild nights out, you can easily find one for little money, or you can treat yourself to a high-quality one from Versace or Yves Saint Laurent, who also have some sweet scents in their lineup, but which are expensive and not cheap-soapy like Dsquared Wild.

ISO E ULTRA. Anyone who likes Molecule 1 or Escentric 1 should definitely try this. I can't understand all the negative comments. 9 /10

I don't understand the bad review - I think the scent is great. The sillage and longevity aren't that impressive, but still sufficient!

For the price, I think it's really okay! There are worse options for much more money. I don't quite understand the negativity...

Cheap water, smells just as bad and just as overpowering as mosquito repellent. Probably quite appealing for AXE users. Stay away!!

This is a pyramidically almost upside-down replica of Escentric01 with the typical ISO perf (~H/S x 2)

Very good woody-spicy scent. Sillage isn't very strong, but longevity is a bit better.

The rating of 5.9 here is justified. Synthetic drugstore sludge
with a headache factor.

Underrated! My favorite so far, hoping to find a scent twin. Resinous, creamy, subtly elegant. Weak sillage.

The failed, because inappropriate name may have caused the mediocre image. The scent itself is brilliant. Too bad it's so expensive.
