Phronema’s Cubanola: A wizard’s dessert!
Conjures images of a blooming, creamy, yellow-white floral that gives off the scent of an otherworldly custard… the ylang and heliotrope are blended about evenly, and combined with the other gourmand items of caramel, vanilla, coffee, clove & benzoin an incredibly rich and dense foundation is made—and then given an herbal-green twist by the oregano, patchouli and violet leaf, also complimented by vetiver in the base.
Really delightful! Ingredients are showcased well while still nicely blended into a pretty novel scent. There are some very pleasant chocolate and banana nuances as well, creating such an interesting nutty, creamy, herbal dessert.
I also applaud the use of oregano here, very deftly added and I feel a great choice of herb for the job. Well complimented by the tang of the patchouli.
