Fresh cool mountain air and the interplay of the elements…
What a treat to take some time for myself in this somewhat barren mountain landscape. The special and mystical atmosphere here at the tree line has a unique effect on me, allowing me to arrive in silence and within myself.
I deeply inhale the fresh cool air, which wonderfully merges me with this environment. My perception becomes clearer and my senses sharper.
The terrain is rocky, and the robust yet delicate flowers thriving on the alpine meadows exude their fine, slightly powdery scent. Through the mist, this power spot seems to be wrapped in a silver veil where time stands still. Only slowly does the damp gray move, carrying the mineral essence of the wet rocks and the characteristic scent of the few coniferous trees through the air.
Amidst this magic, dissolved and surrounded only by nature, I experience the interplay of the elements… how their scents blend together. This unique fragrance delights me, reminding me of a wellness oasis in the mountains. So clean, pure, relaxing, and revitalizing at the same time.
I find this scent inspired, refreshingly different, and quite successful. It is suitable for pampering moments of all kinds, as well as a simple, elegant, and modern fragrance that I personally will wear on various occasions. Nevertheless, I wouldn’t call it an “everyday scent,” as it does stand out to me from most of what I know, and as always, both my mood, which varies slightly, and everything else allows this newly discovered and special treasure to play its fitting role.
Due to the fragrance pyramid with many of my preferred notes, which also appear original and harmonious overall, I dared my first blind purchase. I find the scent convincing and am accordingly pleased.
I would describe it as delicate, fresh, well-groomed, and subtle. It combines powdery, fresh mineral-cool, and sweet-woody notes. It is not floral, even though the iris, in combination with pink pepper and elemi resin, is likely responsible for the powdery aspect. And I can well imagine how the simple aroma of the fuzzy edelweiss flower, combined with the mineral dust, alongside the clever blending of all the notes, creates or emphasizes this cool elegance.
Just arrived and tested the day before yesterday, I am still discovering new nuances, even as it develops.
À la bonheur, Poécile! Et merci pour tous les échantillons à tester.
