Coro - Start in the perfume world
Hello dear readers,
there's always a first time, so my first review starts with Xerjoff Coro. It's also my first niche perfume and my entry into the wonderful world of fragrances.
I know that most people don't want to read diary entries, but want to know what the perfume stands for.
Coro starts with a punch in the... in my nose peach comes out quite strongly, others consider it just a fruity explosion. I'm not a fan of the Erba Pura comparisons, as the fragrance finishes much more elegant and rounded.
Floral notes further round off the fragrance to move away from the sweet fruits. Not feminine, but quite wearable for women. In the final drydown, the solid base emerges and forms a perfect interplay of fruity, woody & vanilla.
For me, this is a fragrance for special occasions, as it stands out and is almost too strong for everyday wear. The longevity and sillage are Xerjoff - like. Above average for a perfume of this design.
Not a 10/10 due to its exclusivity and price, but still a good and well-deserved 8/10.
