Pleasant and muted
Racyne is a new French fragrance brand launched in 2024. Their branding revolves around “naturality” (cue whatever marketing nonsense you’d like to imagine) and minimalism.

They offer five fragrances, each priced at €98 for 50ml. Their bottles resemble a squared-off version of Byredo’s minimalist design.

I actually recommend their discovery kit because the entire lineup is solid. My personal pick, however, was La Terre, La Nuit.

This fragrance grew on me with each wear. It has a muted quality, like a soft blanket draped over your shoulders — comforting yet sophisticated. The blending is excellent; I struggle to identify individual notes, but it feels refined and carries the aura of an elegant woman.

It was a close tie with Verdeur, but since we were transitioning into autumn when I was selecting a bottle, I felt La Terre, La Nuit would shine more in the colder months.

Overall, a great scent — definitely worth trying, in my opinion.
