Juicy mandarin + lots of profound vibes
Alright folks, what do we have here? A bold, juicy mandarin and some cardamom—both absolutely stunning.
As for the dates… I honestly can't pick them out . Maybe they’re behind that sweet note I keep getting, but it’s not cloying at all. Actually, it’s kind of addictive. The mandarin + orange blossom combo runs like a thread across all stages of the scent, from the opening to the drydown... even beyond.
After about 5 minutes, some resinous, amber notes start to show up—so, so good. I’m also getting some patchouli and a tiny balsamic edge that rounds it all out beautifully.
It’s really, really nice. I read on a few sites that some people even wear this in the summer—and that just makes it more interesting. And yep, I get it. Once it dries down, there’s something in there that reminds me of sunscreen… or better yet, sun-kissed skin with lotion on it .
Those summery notes (mandarin and orange blossom) definitely help, but I feel like it stands out way better in the evening. Still, it’s not a light, carefree scent. It’s big, bold—a statement fragrance. Complex, layered, and full of character.
