Moist-Rough Sea Mist
One can dream of the sea even when one can smell it. When a light salty breeze is in the air and spray, breaking against chalk cliffs, disperses into delicate mists. When driftwood floats in a bay and gives off rough maritime scents.
Near a coast, beach pines grow. And one or two mandarin or lemon trees. There, resins and aromas mix with "sea air." Dry sands with moist vapors. Iris makes it even more interesting when it opens its violet and blue flowers in damp places, with a dry-powdery scent. Then rough and delicate, moist and dry, sweet and bitter, salty and aromatic, sea-coast and sky unite.
One doesn't necessarily have to linger on the beach or on a rock by the sea to perceive beautiful images. Just sniffing every now and then when "Imperial Musk" is in the air is enough. Two quick sprays are sufficient to transport oneself into moist-rough sea mist and later warm up in the mild sun. With "sea view" and coast and beach with all the trimmings ;-))
