A slightly different summer fragrance

I am currently in the process of testing all the fragrances from Sora Dora and I have to say that Sora Dora really do a good job Of course there are fragrances whose direction you don't like, but the bottom line is that the quality and the "style" are simply great. So far at least!

Brocéliande has already totally convinced me and I had to buy it immediately.
Mandorle was a well-created fragrance in itself, but it doesn't quite match my DNA.

Now I recently took a closer look at Greasque and I have to say I don't quite understand the poor ratings and opinions.

Of course it is not a "mainstream" fragrance or a fragrance that is very hyped in the social media, but for me, after so many tests of some fragrances, the fragrance was something pleasantly new and different, finally! No nuance or inspiration from fragrances that are very much and often in circulation anyway.

About the fragrance:

Greasque is very deeply minty. Not this menthol mint but really a natural mint and also very gruesome green.
The start really reminds you of grass with this natural mint note.
Shortly after the single, grassy start, the mint continues to dominate but this time with a very authentic basil note with a small nuance of bergamot.

A slightly woody note is added over time and also becomes stronger and stronger.
Unfortunately, I tested the fragrance in January in the cold, but I think this fragrance is much better in summer, as it seems to be perfect for summer or at least warmer days.

Over time, the fragrance becomes spicier and the clove note is clearly recognizable.
Nevertheless, the main protagonist remains basil with a subtle mint note.
The pepper also slightly tickles the nose.

The scent reminds me a lot of certain organic chewing gums and I can understand why some people think it reminds them of Wrigley's Spearmint, but I find that the scent is not as artificial as the chewing gums in question, but rather more natural, like organic chewing gums
Unfortunately, the fragrance quickly becomes milder and becomes very close to the skin and not so perceptible.
Unfortunately after about 3 hours.
Nevertheless, it remains perceptible and one recognizes that the fragrance is slightly more fruity and also another slightly different spicy note is added. I guess it's the muscat saline note, unfortunately I'm not so sure about that.

The scent changes again for the drydown and the caramel note comes out well paired with a dark woody note. The main players from the beginning are barely perceptible and although it is still slightly perceptible, the radiance is really very very low to barely perceptible.
At the end, a certain "charred wood note" remains, but in a nice way :-D

I find this fragrance really very successful and also the fragrance progression is given and very pleasing.
It really is a dream for the summer.
The only drawback, unfortunately also a very big one, is the sillage. The fragrance radiates very, very badly and also the durability is such a thing. It lasts well and long, but you have to look for the fragrance to recognize it and perceive its progression as described above.
Maybe it's different in summer, but during the test it was really miserable.
Nevertheless, I'm thinking about getting this one, because this fragrance is simply something different and also really a very successful fragrance that sprays a wonderful fresh, green mint kick on warm days, which could be brilliant.

So let's wait and see how it turns out in summer.
