His role model is Naxos and he does it quite well
Mythos is definitely inspired by the Xerjoff Naxos. The scent is quite close to the Naxos purely in terms of DNA. There are positive points, but I also see weaknesses. Nevertheless, I simply love this DNA. If you like Naxos, you will also enjoy Mythos.

The fragrance starts off similarly to its big role model. Slightly citrusy combined with this wonderful honey sweetness. The tobacco is also recognizable in the background, along with a subtle cinnamon spiciness.

Over time, the citrus part of the top note recedes, the honey remains, the tobacco comes out a bit more, and slightly floral nuances are added.

In direct comparison to Naxos, I would say that Mythos is initially a bit less citrusy, has a noticeably milder tobacco note, the floral accord is more noticeable, and the cinnamon is a bit more present.

Additionally, Mythos projects much less on me, and unfortunately, the longevity has disappointed me as well. The scent lasts a maximum of 6 hours on me. Tending to say, I would almost say it settles around 5 hours. Others may rate it differently, and that again shows how different each wearer's skin is.
Of course, one might suspect a scent blindness, but I tend to think that's less likely for me. I rarely have problems with that. I have also experienced this issue with the other D'Qar fragrances I tested.

The fragrance is definitely wonderfully unisex and the DNA is simply beautiful. Naxos DNA, after all.

Disappointing
Hi,
So I've been testing the Mythos for a few days now … I have to say the Mythos comes very close to the original … but I am very disappointed with the longevity …. For me, it lasts only about 4 to 5 hours. If at all. I expected more from it. What a shame. I actually wanted to order other fragrances from DQ for testing. But I found out yesterday that others don't last that long either. So I'm now stepping back from the DQ fragrances.

The Subtle Naxos
As a big fan of Naxos, I ordered the Mythos as a more affordable alternative for leisure and everyday use. In my opinion, it can definitely hold its own: the scent is great, but it’s not a 1:1 replica. I perceive the Mythos as significantly milder, more floral, and lighter after spraying, while the Naxos immediately declares: "Here I am!!!". It also comes across a bit sweeter and with a less noticeable tobacco note. For me, it feels a bit further away from the men’s fragrance towards unisex. I really like the scent itself, but those expecting a clone will likely be disappointed. Longevity and sillage are good, but of course not as outstanding as with Naxos. Overall, I am still very satisfied with it. I hope I could help some of you with this.

Very strong resemblance to Naxos by Xerjoff. The tobacco note isn't as pronounced here, and it's a bit sweeter.

Naxos DNA, fewer edges & corners, less tobacco, not as cloyingly sweet as the original. H/S unfortunately semi, there are better Naxos copies for less.

It’s very close to Xerjoff Naxos, but it doesn’t last long on my skin and has poor sillage.

The Naxos in a subtle design is no less than its brother. However, there are significantly cheaper alternatives.

Comes very close to the DNA of Naxos. A bit less tobacco, a tad less citrusy at the start, and a bit "floraler."
