Woody Scent for Everyday Use
Among all the countless Vibrant Leather variants from Zara, I came across Oud Vibrant Leather Elixir.
From the top note, I only perceive a subtle citrus hint of bergamot and a bit of apple for about 20 minutes. After that, the scent transitions into a woody-spicy base note that remains quite linear for 4 hours and is then only perceptible close to the skin. That's about it, as I don't smell anything more than "diffuse" woody-spicy notes. But it smells good. I find it perfectly suitable for office/leisure/sport and wearable all year round. All in all, it is a very pleasant spicy-woody scent. You can't go wrong, but it won't stand out too much either. Sometimes that's desirable.
The Vibrant Leather line is also inspired by Aventus; however, I can't say where this variant stands. Possibly not the original Aventus, but a spicier flanker.
The longevity of the scent is - when looking at the ingredients - below average, but considering the price, it's perfectly fine. Sillage is also okay. The falcon is simple, has a good weight in the hand, and features a magnetic cap. I like that. The price-performance ratio is hard to beat: €30 for 100 ml.
Clear recommendation for anyone looking for an affordable and everyday-appropriate woody scent.
