Frau Holle
Frau Holle is having a tough time today. She has brought in a rather lazy apprentice to the company. Of course, the young thing can stay during the probation period, but after that, she should go. As soon as possible.
It's incomprehensible. Actually, everything here runs quite casually. For example, the down pillows and beds. Every morning, in this local quarter, these should be properly shaken out. And if the pillows lose a few feathers, all the better.
The same goes for the cat. It only needs a plate of milk. Not with cinnamon, not with sugar or anything like that. Just plain milk. Frau Holle doesn't even dare to think about the other things.
Watering the little tree, repainting the peacock, re-soling the dance, feeding the rainbow, scattering the meadow, and singing the silence. All quite simple tasks.
But oh... nowadays it is so hard to find good apprentices.
The plump Frau Holle adjusts her round golden nickel glasses, quickly tucks a few silver strands into her bun, and then rolls up her sleeves to look for Pechmarie.
What kind of report will she get?
The scent.
Well. Actually quite linear.
It starts super feather-soft, powdery, warm, and vanillic. It hits you right away. BUT. It actually becomes softer and finally smells like warm rice pudding with powder and fluff.
I wouldn't want to wear it during the summer months. Although it becomes soft and very pleasant, the powdery sweetness would still be too heavy for me.
Even up close, it’s still too fluffy. It lasts 6 hours but is quite close to the body. And at first, it’s really penetrating, causing headaches, but it dims down to body proximity.
Conclusion:
When Frau Holle takes over the scepter, the scent becomes really good. (Tending towards Kenzo Amour) - if you like that, you will also like Poudre d'Été.
