An underrated fig scent
Vanilla Fig is a clean, green fragrance that remains a hidden gem from The Good Scent. The perfume has a citrus-floral opening (which I admit smelt slightly generic upon first spray), however, it begins to dry down into a lovely milky-green scent.
As HappyHoya mentioned, there are definitely similarities between this fragrance and Philosykos by Diptyque.
However, I find that Vanilla Fig is slightly creamier and sweeter in its dry-down, even as the fig note remains present.
While I wouldn't classify this as a vanilla-forward perfume, the fragrance does exhibit a soft lactonic note that helps express vanilla within the dry-down.
I would also say that this unisex-leaning-feminine perfume is something that's easy to reach for, and can be worn in all seasons.
Overall, Vanilla Fig would remain a staple in my collection!
