Atomic elegance
After I got me the Discovery -set of TNB, this fragrance fascinated me from the beginning.
In the opening you encounter floral and slightly fresh notes, which are quickly replaced by the main player - the really beautiful iris note.
Then leather and woods dissolve the rather fruity hints of the top note and lead you gently into the slightly dry fragrance impressions of the heart note. Ylang-ylang as well as violets I personally can not smell out.
The fruity-floral start with a still slightly restrained sillage transforms more and more to a truly atomic radiance with great elegance.
Now you literally fill entire rooms and allows no other fragrance next to you. The fragrance lingers in the room long after you have left it.
Therefore, restraint in the dosage of sprays is advised.
In the further course to the drydown, the fragrance becomes increasingly amber and vanilla and Tonkabohe together with the iris remain and let the fragrance experience nice soft finish.
I at least also experience a slight note of burnt rubber. Strangely enough, however, not every time I apply it. This is not exactly one of my favorite notes in this fragrance.
Durability and sillage are exceptionally good. In fact, sometimes too good. Not always you want to dominate with your fragrance.
Avenue Montagne holds loosely through a whole day.
Nevertheless, with restrained dosage a very elegant and unusual fragrance and also unisex very well portable.
