Yummy
The opening is a delicious sweet rose, light and inoffensive. Yummy. As it settles you can begin to get some of the warm woody notes. Beautiful and not overpowering. Subtle amber accord. It's rich but not overtly spicy. More sweet than my usual taste, but the woodiness balances it out somewhat as it dries down. Longevity is good, good projection. I feel sexy wearing this! And quite honestly, the more I wear it the more I like it.
I was hoping this would be a bit more spicy/woody/dark than it is. I would love to see a rose-patchouli scent more along this line from Saltworks, as Rose Bohème wasn’t to my taste (too clinical/powdery).
