Not that animalic..?
First, let me start by saying I very much dislike TSVGA. I won't get into the details but I'm just not a fan of James. I must admit Fiona is very nice, it's some floral animalics with a hint of vanilla. Do I think this is worth retail, I don't know it off the top of my head but I think this is worth $200. Now because people have FOMO I've seen Fiona go upwards of $300. Overall nice scent but not worth the resale price to me. I recommend getting your nose on this.

old fashioned (with so much quality) But… too much
it is as simple as it is difficult. contrasts of many notes, many wonderful but difficult to use ingredients. I note with interest many animal parts, true raw and real, Ambergris and flowers. all this beautiful, but not very usable. I repeat myself, beautiful but too dense. all too much. I bought it in travel format, I will keep it in my collection but I will not use it for the outings

Fiona!!

Fiona's Beaver Edition
A substantial opening where castoreum immediately takes centre stage with sweet and suedy tones, but then quickly "goes back" to give space to a floral heart where ylang-ylang and frangipani reign supreme with their sweet scents and champaca adding after.
In the following hours, Fiona's animalic core (6 types of animalics) emerges, powerful but not at all overwhelming, giving a sensual allure, with castoreum still noticeable but smoky this time, accompanied by a slightly medicinal, smoky oud, delicately accompanied by ethereal vanilla.

Fiona's Enchanted Land
Somewhere, a champaca plays, swinging the sweet membrane of its white petals into Fiona's dream world. For a moment, the colors overpower, the flowers glow at the transition, the song of the yellow ylang is intoxicating, shrubs swell with the scent of fruits, resin smoke flows in dark streams, the balsams whisper, amber-colored, the first rough voices sneak through the bitter blossoms of jasmine, which soon begin to transform, merging into faces of wild musk, warm mist on the backs of deer, musky wool, a few drops of urine trickling through gray goat hair, to soft leathery cat paws on mulchy spicy tobacco floors, in incense mists over the barks and black vanilla in damp clay, there's no place like home, there's no place like home..
**
James Barry of TSVGA, an artisan niche label in Easthampton, Massachusetts, primarily works with high-quality natural raw materials. He has changed the recipe for "Fiona" several times, and I was allowed to dive into the world of the fifth batch, a landscape that opens with sweet champaca blossoms, intoxicating ylang, and fruity frangipani notes, embedded in balsamically warm (amber), resinous-smoky notes (onycha), which give the overall impression enormous depth from the very beginning. Slightly indolic jasmine forms a bridge to the soon more pronounced animalic aromas. Warm musk from deer and skunk, as well as the slightly tobacco-leathery notes of hyraceum and civet, are easily perceptible to me, spicy goat hair occasionally surfaces, and slightly urinous-woolly musky scents provide some edge over a base of various ouds (incensy, bark-mulchy, earthy), unsweet dark vanilla, and oak moss.
"Somehow, it all balances out, despite much of the formula being some very potent and smelly animalics. Indolic features of the floral absolutes dance with animalics and the sweeter elements to create a harmony that is a dream of a fragrance. High quality ouds hold it all together throughout the long journey of each wearing," Barry aptly describes the grand interplay of the notes. Fiona's enchanted land projects itself perceptibly through several dream phases.

I expected more animalic bite. There’s some fur and funk, but it’s wrapped in florals — a polished, made-up Fiona.

Funky floral punch. I mostly get champaca and rose out of the florals with some poop-like funkiness which dries down with more vanilla

Shrek does come to mind. Not my cup of tea, though. This fragrance is undecided if it wants to be the princess or Shrek’s love interest.

Behind the stylish name hides a stinking and farting beast that makes flowers wilt and flies drop from the walls.
