Foreword:
I have been buying clothes etc. from the "Value" brand for several years... for several years.
The company, which was originally founded by Youtuber and car enthusiast Hagen Lauße, has impressed me with its good quality ever since.
With every new collection, I also receive an email with discount codes and there is usually also a competition where you can win a car.
So one afternoon I received another email from the newsletter and thought nothing of it, as I was illiquid this month due to a car repair and didn't want to make any "unnecessary expenses" until next month.
However, a perfume collection immediately caught my eye and I was able to throw my savings measures for this month in the garbage can.
There are currently three fragrances in the Value perfume collection; for the sake of simplicity, I opted for what I consider to be the most "suitable for everyday use".
The package arrived quickly, after about 2-3 days, with the well-stored perfume, which only cost €70 instead of €100 due to a discount code. The package also contained two fragrance samples of the other perfumes from the collection, brilliant!
I received 50ml of "Essence de Parfum", which according to the manufacturer contains 22% fragrance oil.
Flacon:
Due to the 50ml content, you get a fairly handy bottle, but it is made of heavy material. It feels good and high-quality in the hand. Unfortunately, you can only guess the fill level through the impermeable outer skin, but there are worse things.
I find the play of colors between orange on the body and black on the lid quite youthful, but the design appeals to me very much due to the bold choice of colors.
The printing on the front of the bottle is raised and seems to be of good quality.
When you run your finger over it, it feels high-quality.
The atomizer is not very good in my opinion. It only works at a short distance and then releases a medium-sized cloud, so you have to be careful to walk a very short distance before spraying in order to get any of the fragrance on your skin at all.
Fragrance:
The fragrance itself contains many active ingredients that "always work". If you like fresher fragrances that are suitable for everyday use, it fits well into a collection. Otherwise, I think that there are much more unusual fragrances for €100 that are worth buying.
In my opinion, the fragrance is not distinctive, but it smells pleasant and not irritating at any time. You can wear it well in everyday life. Unfortunately, you just have to live with the fact that you won't necessarily be noticed because of the fragrance. Unfortunately, I have not (yet) received any great compliments when wearing this fragrance.
Sillage:
As this is a fresher fragrance and it is also intended for everyday wear, you shouldn't expect everyone to look in the direction of the perfume wearer in amazement after entering the office. In my case, the sillage is subtle, but not zero. However, I personally find the sillage strongly dependent on the wearer of the perfume.
Longevity:
I have to repeat myself here too. This fresher fragrance lasts me personally for about 4-6 hours I think, maybe I have to wear it more often to give an exact conclusion.
Conclusion:
This fragrance is a pleasant scent suitable for everyday wear, but in my opinion it doesn't stand out from the crowd. For me it was still not a bad buy. I will continue to support Hagen Lauße. If I don't know which fragrance to get next, I'll think about buying Values "Fast Life". Maybe by buying this perfume I will also win the Lamborghini advertised in the competition, then the purchase would have been even more worthwhile :D
