Can be a little more matronly than expected
The dry down on this is pretty nice, and honestly it does smell good. But I don't get any of the pear notes or even any fruit notes at all. All I get is the oud and the florals. It smells classy and rich, but in an old fashioned way that just doesn't match my style.
However! I realized this smells amazing when layered with Burberry Brit. Brit is so pear-foreward and sweet, on its own it's too juvenile for me. But it's absolutely perfect with Golden Oud.
